Auburn's Adams Entering NFL Draft

Auburn wide receiver Darvin Adams is skipping his senior season to enter the NFL Draft. He led the BCS national champions in receiving the past two seasons, catching 52 passes for 963 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior. Adams also set an SEC championship game record with 217 yards receiving.

Nick Fairley To Skip Senior Season

Auburn defender Nick Fairley will skip his final season of eligibility and enter the NFL Draft. "I was thinking, 'What more could I accomplish my senior year?' " Fairley said Friday while announcing the decision. The Tigers won the National Championship and Fairley won the Lombardi Award. He had a sack, three tackles for losses and forced a fumble against Oregon in Monday's BCS Title game. Fairley played two seasons at Auburn after transferring from junior college. RealGM's Jeff Risdon has Fairley as the No. 2 overall pick in his latest mock draft.

Ryan Williams Will Enter NFL Draft

Virginia Tech tailback Ryan Williams, who had two years of eligibility remaining, will enter the 2011 NFL Draft. On Thursday, Virginia Tech leading rusher Darren Evans also announced he would leave the school for the NFL. Together, Williams and Evans combined for 1,331 yards and 20 touchdowns this year.

"The last couple of weeks were pretty hectic," Green said in a teleconference from his home in South Carolina. "I was just trying to make a sound decision for my family and I. Alabama running back Mark Ingram and defensive end Marcell Dareus will announce at a news conference Friday that they plan to enter the NFL Draft, according to sources. Razorbacks wide receiver Julio Jones is likely to follow, though sources added that he hasn't yet made a final decision. Ingram is No. 22 on RealGM senior football writer Jeff Risdon's most recent prospect ranking list. Dareus (13) and Jones (18) are also near the top of Risdon's list.

Ryan Mallett Declares For NFL Draft

Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett has declared for the NFL Draft. Mallett, who became just the fourth player in SEC history to pass for 3,000 yards and 30 touchdowns in back-to-back seasons, announced Thursday that he will forgo his final season of eligibility. "Ever since I was a kid, my dream has always been to play for the Razorbacks, and I am thankful I had the opportunity to do so," Mallett said. "A year ago, when I returned to school, I said I wanted to help lead this team to a place among the nation's elite and for the Razorback community to have a mindset to expect greatness. "There is no doubt we got there together, and this program will continue to play games on the biggest stages, and when it does, we'll come out swinging."

Wisconsin's Watt To Declare For Draft

Wisconsin defensive end J.J. Watt has decided to forgo his senior season and enter the NFL draft in April. Watt began his college career as a tight end at Central Michigan in 2007. He started the last two seasons for the Badgers after joining the program as a walk-on in 2008. "This has, without a doubt, been one of the most difficult decisions of my life, and it is one that was not reached quickly, or easily," Watt wrote in an open letter to Wisconsin fans posted on the school's official website. "At this time, I have made the decision to enter the 2011 NFL draft. It has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember to play in the National Football League, and through hard work and dedication, that dream finally has a chance to become a reality. "I will be a Wisconsin Badger for life and am forever grateful for all of the love and support that the fans, administration and community have shown to my family and I during my time in Madison. I could not have asked for better coaches to play for, better teammates to play alongside, or a better fan base to represent throughout my collegiate career."

Clemson defensive end Da'Quan Bowers will forgo his final season of eligibility and declare for the NFL draft. The 6-foot-4, 280-pound junior had 67 tackles and led the nation with 16 sacks this season. "He's excelled in every area," Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said in December. "He's had to overcome some personal tragedy and has still been able to stay focused. He's become the inspirational leader of our team. To see him being honored is really heartwarming for me."
